Animals were immunized with the HL-60 promyelocytic leukemia cell line. Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells. The antibody precipitates an 87000 dalton glycoprotein present on the surface of K562 leukemia cells. The antibody reacts strongly with all morphologically recognizable precursors of the human erythroid lineage. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
