Permits visual detection of recombinants by lacZalpha complementation. Constructed from pJK142 (ATCC 86955) by inserting the ura4 gene at the NdeI site. The ura4 gene contains the following unique restriction sites: BsmI BsgI PflMI Bsu36I StuI BbsI AvrII. The order of the major feature in the plasmid is: ampR - pMB1 ori - 5' lacZ' - SacI/MCS/KpnI - 3' lacZ' - ura4. |
