PstI ends have been created by the cloning procedure. Open reading frame encoded in pCEA1 and pCEA2 contains 2 closely-related repeats of 178 amino acids each. pCEA1 contains repeat a and part of repeat b; pCEA2 contains repeat b and part of repeat a.
